Underneath the pillow
Lies a heartless story
Only darkness,
as far as the eyes goes
Tormented rains,
beat up the windows
And black clouds,
eat up the only ally
Sometimes such sadness passes us by
And there is no wind for us to dry
And we cry
In the garden
Grows a pair of blue lilies
Sun, too sunny this day,
shines love,
all inside from the marrow
And it leaves some trails
for a beaming landscaper,
And a lullaby...
Sometimes such happiness passes us by
And there is no room for us to hide
And we cry
Lies a heartless story
Only darkness,
as far as the eyes goes
Tormented rains,
beat up the windows
And black clouds,
eat up the only ally
Sometimes such sadness passes us by
And there is no wind for us to dry
And we cry
In the garden
Grows a pair of blue lilies
Sun, too sunny this day,
shines love,
all inside from the marrow
And it leaves some trails
for a beaming landscaper,
And a lullaby...
Sometimes such happiness passes us by
And there is no room for us to hide
And we cry
